EPL: Chelsea takes final decision on singing Isco from Real Madrid in January
Former Premier League champions, Chelsea have finally decided to offer £70 million to Real Madrid in a bid to sign their midfielder, Isco when the transfer window opens in January.
According to The Sun, the Blues are willing to give Isco a four-and-a-half-year deal worth £250,000 a week.
Isco has not been a regular starter at Madrid since Santiago Solari replaced Julen Lopetegui as manager in October.
The Spain international has fallen down the pecking order in Solari’s squad this campaign.
The ex-Malaga star, who only started one match under Solari, has made five appearances as a substitute this term.
Isco was booed by Madrid fans at the Santiago Bernabeu in Los Blancos’ 3-0 defeat by CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.
The 26-year-old’s current deal with Madrid will end in 2022.
The midfielder will hope to feature for Real Madrid when they tackle Villarreal in their next La Liga fixture.
