Cardi B Risks Arrests As Judge Issues Warning

Cardi B may be churning out good music and staying atop the charts but that does not make her above the law.

The “She Bad” rapper has just been issued a stern warning from the judge in her strip club beatdown case: to either show up to court or face getting arrested.

This is coming after the multiple award-winning rapper’s legal team showed up in court today without her for a hearing about the August incident.

It is learnt that prosecutors expressed their frustration that Cardi B failed to show up considering she had previously been giving a six-week extension on the case. The prosecutors, therefore, asked the judge to issue a bench warrant.

Although the judge denied the immediate request, he, however, issued a serious warning that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper must appear in court on Friday, December 7 morning or there will most likely be a warrant issued.

Cardi B’sdefencee team also revealed in court they’ve been having a tough time getting in touch with her directly — instead only communicating through Cardi B’s management team and only found out last week that Cardi B had a prior commitment that would prevent her from attending today’s hearing.

It would be recalled that Cardi B is accused of unleashing her posse on two strip club bartenders, Jade and Baddie Gi, leaving them both badly injured.
